Was looking at the local AD today. Asked if they had a DD40 and they did, so they let me try it. What a watch. Though it occasionally pains me to have sold my 118238, I'm very impressed by the 228238 right here. I think maybe, on the distant horizon, its WG brother--228239--is coming. I was just very impressed with how everything felt with this watch. I also will say it feels different than my 118238 felt, somehow more dense/robust/solid and of course, it was heavier. Great fun; hope you're all enjoying the ramp up into Friday...

I am looking for the WG version with the new blue graded dial. I love the white dial version from your picture but I prefer white gold

Yeah the yellow gold you tired is awesome and a classic. If I could dare wearing that much coloured gold it would be my pick…maybe I will one day!

we are biased and predisposed to notice these things. Turns out I'm one of the only people I know that when first meeting or seeing someone, looks at their wrist(s) to see what they are or aren't wearing.
